My healthcare career began in the NHS, working across reception, care coordination and medical secretarial roles before moving into private healthcare. At HCA Healthcare UK, I progressed from Senior Medical Secretary to Office Manager, supporting consultants, leading administrative teams and helping busy practices run smoothly.
A more personal kind of practice support
In 2021, I brought that experience together with a passion for supporting consultants and founded Virtual Medical Assistants. What began with one consultant grew through recommendations and reputation into a trusted service offering flexible medical secretarial and practice support across a wide range of specialties.

As VMA’s founder, I bring 25 years of secretarial, administration and office management experience, including 15 years supporting consultants and healthcare professionals across the NHS and private healthcare.
